Vatican City

Vatican City, the smallest country in the world. Vatican City is a country in Europe, but also in Italy. Vatican City is a small, tiny, puny, country in the middle of Italy. Vatican City only spans over 0.19M inside of Italy, and only has a population of only around 800 people. The Vatican is another name for the country and considering that it is a country and only has 800 is pretty amazing, keep in mind that its a country and its smaller than so many towns.

Vatican doesn’t have much history but its national religion is Roman Catholicism. Vatican was considered an independent country almost 100 years ago in 1929. Vatican is run by a pope, the pope will select cardinals that will help for 5 years. For art and culture Vatican holds many famous statues and paintings.

Vatican used to be a part of Italy but like I had said before its already almost 100 years old. Vatican is one of few countries to not have an airport. Vatican has good transportation and travel but no airport. I would recommend to head to Vatican as it seem like a very interesting country.
