Dan Marino

Dan Marino is a former NFL quarterback who played all of his career with the Miami Dolphins, Marino is also a Hall Of Famer. Dan Marino started his football legacy with the University Of Pittsburgh, Marino played there for three years spanning from 1979 to 1982. Marino had a solid University career although he slowed down near the end. In total Dan Marino threw for around 8500 yards 79 TD’s and 69 picks.

Dan Marino’s slower senior year had made his draft rankings plummet. Marino ultimately still got selected 27th overall by the Miami Dolphins. Marino was the first pick in the United States Football League by the Los Angeles Express, Marino however, would never sign with the team. Marino signed with the Dolphins and played as a backup for the first six games of the season. Marino would start the 6th game of the season and set multiple records. Marino finished his rookie season off with a Pro Bowl and was the only rookie quarterback to lead passing yards in a conference.

Dan Marino would have a monster second season notching over 5000 passing yards and over 45 touchdowns.  However Marino would slightly slow down his second season putting up around 4000 yards and just 30 touchdowns. This would continue for the rest of  his career putting up similar but great numbers. Dan Marino is considered one of the best quarterback so never win a super bowl and one of the best all time.
